New Here or

Looking for a Church Home?

Welcome

There is a time for everything. Whether you're new to Coffs Harbour, exploring faith, or sensing God is leading you into a new season, we'd love to meet you.

Simply, Generocity is a place where you can belong, a community made up of everyday people having an eternal impact for an extraordinary God.

The heart behind our name is Genero'city'. Inspired by Isaiah 1:26 (The Message), we are pursuing being a "City-That-Treats-People-Right" by receiving and giving the love, acceptance and forgiveness of Jesus.

"I'll set honest judges and wise counsellors among you just like it was back in the beginning. Then you'll be renamed City-That-Treats-People-Right, the True-Blue City. God's right ways will put Zion right again."
— Isaiah 1:26 (The Message)

Wherever you're at in your journey, we'd love to welcome you.

Our Sunday Morning

 9:10am – One Heart

One Heart is a space to pause, pray and prepare our hearts before we gather together—an opportunity for stillness, silence, prayer and reflection on the values that shape our community.

Different people share each week, creating space to encourage one another and focus our hearts on Jesus. Everyone is welcome—whether you're serving on team or simply wanting to start your Sunday a little earlier.

 9:30am – Help Yourself to a Cuppa

This is our unofficial start time.

Arrive at 9:30am for a tea or coffee, a chat, and the opportunity to connect with people, find a seat, and settle in before our 10:00am gathering begins.

We see this time as just as important as the rest of the morning. It's a space where friendships can grow, conversations can happen, and people can begin to feel connected before we focus on Jesus together.

 10:00am – Sunday Gathering

Our gatherings are joyful, relaxed, welcoming and centred around Jesus. We usually include singing (praise and worship), prayer, and a practical message about Jesus or something from the Bible. Feel free to bring your own Bible—if you don't have one, Bibles are available for you to use during the gathering.

Around twice a month we share communion together, worship through our financial giving to the Lord's work, and regularly celebrate stories of how Jesus is changing lives. The First Half of our gathering usually runs for around 90 minutes.

First Half
A time of worship, prayer, hearing from God's Word and growing in our faith together.

Second Half
This is just as valuable as the First Half. After the gathering, everyone is invited to stay for morning tea. Feel free to bring something to share if you'd like, but there's never any expectation. The coffee machine is on, with barista-made drinks available free or by donation.

This is where more ministry and friendship can often take place—just in a different setting. Through conversations, sharing stories, encouraging one another, praying together and simply spending time together, there's an opportunity for relationships to continue to grow. For us, it's more than just a cuppa—it's an important part of building community.

FAQs

Where are you located?

Corner of Argyll St and Pacific Highway, Coffs Harbour NSW 2450.

What Can I Expect?

We're not here to impress anyone. We're here to experience the joy, love, sweet fellowship among all generations, and the Spirit of Jesus together.

We're really just trying to be like a family—encouraging one another, growing together, and creating a place where people can belong. Whether you've been following Jesus for years, exploring faith, or simply looking for a church home, you're welcome.

What if I'm New and Don't Know Anyone?

That's completely okay—many people walk through our doors for the first time not knowing anyone. We don't have a designated welcome team as such—instead, it's our desire that everyone who calls Generocity home would be welcoming, so that from the moment you arrive, you're helped to feel comfortable and we try to answer any questions you might have along the way.

Families

Do you have something for kids?

Yes! GC Kids runs during the Sunday message in a safe, fun and engaging environment where children can learn about Jesus and build friendships. Our team members hold current Working With Children Checks and complete Safe Ministry training.

Considering Generocity?

Do I have to leave my current church to visit?

Not at all. You're welcome to simply join us for fellowship and worship—no expectations, no pressure.

Over time, we'd simply invite you to prayerfully consider where the Lord might be leading you. And if that leads you here, we'd love for you to partner in the life and heart of Generocity—not just visiting, but belonging.

So whether you're visiting for the first time, new to the area, or already sensing this might be home, we'd love to have you with us.

How do I get in touch or ask more questions?

We'd love to hear from you.
